Our Commitment to the Community during COVID-19
During this time of worldwide health crisis, it has been well documented that hospitals are very short on personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, gowns, and masks, all of which protect our hard-working nurses and doctors on the front lines of the COVID-19 fight. As staff members at AMITA St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, IL, Dr. Lovda and Dr. Lovda Jr. saw this shortage first hand.
In early April, with the help of our medical colleagues, we pooled our resources to donate much needed PPE supplies to AMITA St. Alexius Medical Center during the COVID-19 outbreak. We are very confident that our donated supplies will be placed in the hands of those that need it most during the COVID-19 crisis, such as physicians and nurses treating those sick with the virus.
What can you do to help?
Although PPE can only be ordered by doctors and medical facilities, we ask that our local community support healthcare personnel in any way possible, whether it is as simple as caring for loved ones or thanking healthcare workers you may cross paths with. Together, we can get through this.
See how we're involved with our community and helping the world at large!
