Dr. Michael Lovda was born and raised in Chicago, attending Lane Tech High School. He received a Bachelor in Science degree from Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin and then attended the University of Illinois Dental College in Chicago, where he graduated with honors. There he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Fraternity. Following dental college, he served a one-year general practice residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center, broadening his dental education.
Dr. Lovda is a post president of the Schaumburg Dental Study Club and is also a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society.
Following residency, Dr. Lovda worked as an associate general dentist in Mt. Prospect, IL. He opened his own practice in Hoffman Estates in 1979.
